    We’re hiring a loan partner who will work directly alongside our loan origination staff to help our applicants through the mortgage loan process. You’ll get applicants' mortgages ready, prepare paperwork, and respond to customer inquiries on transactions as needed. Responsibilities: Coordinate and prepare documentation necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork Check all loan package documents for complete accuracy and submit any discrepancies to the loan officer/ loan originator Follow up and respond to customer and in-house inquiries on transactions as needed in order to provide superior customer service Be the primary liaison between the mortgage loan officer and our clients and schedule meetings to discuss outstanding items • 1) Collect all Loan Conditions.90% of purchase loans close on time2) Manage 80% of pipeline issuesTo ensure Loan Consultant is able to spend the majority of their time acquiring new business3) Perform all update calls/texts/emailsHeavy contact with agents and borrowers with updates and requestsEssential Duties of the Position: TOP 3 JOB DUTIES • Complete LPII checklist on all files and adhere to company time frames • Call and obtain documents and information from borrowers and Realtors if necessary • Helps clients e-sign Loan Applications and Disclosures • With new contracts, facilitate the introduction to Realtors via e-mail and facilitate a call from the Loan Officer to ensure positive customer service for our new clients • All files turned into processing within 24 hours of meeting with the borrower • Understands and research’s all investor guidelines and is up to date in any and all program changes that affect the processing or originating of loans in the pipeline • Submits complete files to processing based on Investor and/or AUS requirements to get ready for submission • Clears any conditions that require communication to the clients • Communicates with your team all information pertaining to the client and/or property to meet file expectations • Responsible for once-a-week status calls/emails to all parties involved in transaction (Clients, Realtors, Builders, etc.) • Tracks and manages new leads and follows up on documentation needed • Sends out correspondence – Thank you cards, Closing Cost Calculators, etc. (automated) • Coordinate Closing details with Client – Final Payment, rate, Cash to Close, etc • Assist the Loan Officer with other administrative and/or sales duties as needed • Consistently exceed borrower expectations and Realtor/Builder expectations • Set up the file using the loan officer checklist and turn it into processing • Assist LP1 with putting scenarios together for prospective clients (researching client scenarios with underwriting and investor guidelines) • Analyze income and assets available and advise on loan structure • Assist Loan Officer with callbacks to prospects that need a phone consult prior to a face-to-face meeting • Re-disclose all new loans when there is a change of circumstance Qualifications: Strong understanding of loan financing options such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/ fixed, commercial loans, etc. Excellent customer service and communication skills and willing to go above and beyond for customers and team At least 5+ years of professional office environment required, preferably as a loan officer assistant or mortgage assistant Although not required, having an NMLS license or training is preferred College degree in finance or banking preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required • Team-oriented, adaptable, and accountable • Strong attention to detail and time management skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills • Ability to multitask and prioritize projects with multiple deadlines • Ability to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines • Experience with systems such as Salesforce, or the ability to learn systems quickly • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Underwriter or high volume Loan Partner volume experience preferred • Ability to analyze and structure multiple loan types required • 1-3 Years as a Loan Partner or similar preferred Compensation: $70,000 - $100,000 yearly
