Baze Animal Clinic is seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinarian to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of animal care, providing high-quality medical services to our small animal community. This role requires not only technical expertise but also excellent communication skills to educate pet owners about their animals' health and well-being.
Duties
Conduct thorough examinations of animals to diagnose health issues.
Administer vaccinations and medications as needed.
Perform surgical procedures and dental work with precision.
Utilize laboratory equipment for diagnostic testing and analysis.
Maintain accurate medical records for each patient.
Provide guidance on animal husbandry, nutrition, and general care.
Handle animals safely and effectively, ensuring their comfort during examinations or treatments.
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure optimal patient care.
Educate pet owners on preventive healthcare measures, including routine check-ups.
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution
State veterinary license in good standing
Strong knowledge of animal physiology, husbandry, and handling techniques
Excellent communication skills with pet owners and team members
Familiarity with veterinary terminology and current best practices in pet care
