GQ Animal Clinic is a small animal oriented veterinary practice with 2 locations in the vibrant and ever growing South Florida area. While we see emergencies, we are a general practice clinic that can do it all! We have a diverse team of passionate professionals who embrace teamwork. Our locations have state of the art medical equipment, software, team members, and recently renovated facilities to make the job fun while giving you all the tools needed to succeed.

We are seeking a full-time veterinarian to join our GQ family at our South Florida Pet Emergency location. This individual must display an ability to work in a team environment while having a high level of communication and focus on great customer service. We want this individual to take initiative and share the passion for providing the best possible care for our patients as well as our team while maintaining a clean and organized workplace. We here at GQ Animal Clinic are more than health providers, we are a family!

As a GQ Animal Clinic Veterinarian, you will:

Work with felines and canines (small animals)

Treat and dress wounds

Perform surgery

Perform spay/neuter

Administer anesthesia

Use equipment available

Perform dentals

Operate in house lab and medical equipment: X-ray machine, CBC/CHEM blood test

Euthanize animals

Perform regular animal examination to evaluate for any health problems

Advice animal owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatments

Document actions by completing and updating forms, reports, and animal records and reporting diseases to public health officials

Guide technicians and assistants accordingly to maximize team efficiency

Customer service to provide high quality service to customers

Requirements:

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine required

A current and active veterinary license, in good standing

Experience in the Veterinary Industry and in a Veterinary Practice

Curiosity, positivity, initiative, and a growth mindset

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

English - speaking, writing and reading

Spanish - preferred

Experience resolving conflict through clear explanation

Business acumen and knowledge of the different goods/services sold
