    Neighborhood Veterinary center is a clinic that still believes that clients and good medicines comes before anything else. Started by our owner and medical director’s love for the field we strive to place these values at the forefront to provide the best environment for our patients, staff and clients. Applicants must be licensed and able to practice in South Florida and should be competent in medical and surgical skills for small animal.     Responsibilities

    Provide routine examinations

    Diagnose illnesses and recommend treatment

    Perform surgeries including dental, ophthalmic, and orthopedic

    Administer vaccinations

    Perform spay and neuter surgeries

    Prescribe medication

    Advise pet owners on preventative healthcare, nutrition, and overall pet well-being

    Update client records

    Qualifications

    Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree

    New graduates are excepted

    Previous work experience as a veterinarian

    Knowledge of medical equipment and anesthesia procedures

    Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical concepts in simple terms

    Problem-solving skills

    Availability to take evening, weekend, or on-call shifts when necessary

    Patience and a love for animals
