Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate Veterinarian to join the team at our successful clinic. You will primarily diagnose and treat dogs and cats; however, if you have exotic experience, we can provide care for smaller animals. Daily responsibilities will include performing surgeries, treating wounds, prescribing medications, and spaying/neutering. If you are passionate about providing exceptional animal care, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

Provide routine examinations

Diagnose illnesses and recommend treatment

Perform surgeries including dentistry

Administer vaccinations

Perform spay and neuter surgeries

Prescribe medication

Advise pet owners on preventative healthcare, nutrition, and overall pet well-being

Update client records

Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree

2 years previous work experience as a veterinarian

Knowledge of medical equipment and anesthesia procedures

Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical concepts in simple terms

Problem-solving skills

Patience and a love for animals
