Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: admitting patients for procedures and exams, animal restraint, maintaining animal records and documenting conditions and updates, dental cleanings under anesthesia, taking dental radiographs, monitoring anesthesia, venipuncture including catheter placement, administering PO, SQ, IM, and IV medications, filling prescriptions, completing laboratory testing and diagnostic imaging, and educating clients on veterinary medicine.

What You Need to Succeed:

• At least one year of veterinary medicine experience
• Must have confidence with anesthesia monitoring
• Full-time and every other Saturday availability is a must
• Be able to start in October (preferably October 12th)
• Ability to maintain professionalism in stressful situations and open to receiving constructive feedback
• Must work effectively, independently or on a team, while consistently demonstrating compassion and empathy for pets and their owners
• Great communication, time management, and attention to detail
• High School Diploma or equivalent
