Old York Veterinary Hospital is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our team. As a vital member of our practice, you will help provide high-quality care to animals while supporting veterinarians and other staff in daily operations. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with both pets and their owners.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist veterinarians during examinations, procedures and surgeries. Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and treatment areas. Care for hospitalized animals and treatments as directed. Provide excellent customer service to clients. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing records.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting preferred. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment. Strong attention to detail and a genuine love for animals.
