Position Overview We are seeking a motivated veterinary assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about veterinary medicine and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and client service.

Key Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians during examinations and treatments

Safely handle and restrain cats and dogs of various sizes and temperaments

Obtain patient histories and maintain accurate medical records

Feed, walk, and monitor animals in the clinic’s care

Clean, organize, stock and maintain exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment

Support front desk operations, including scheduling and client communication

Educate clients on preventative pet care and post-treatment instructions

Qualifications & Requirements

Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting preferred

Comfortable working with dogs and cats, including those that may be stressed or unwell

Willingness to learn and take direction and constructive feedback from teammates

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinical setting

Compassionate, team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic

Proficiency with veterinary software systems is a plus
