About the Role:

Join PCIFIC PET CARE INC as a Veterinary Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in providing compassionate care to our furry patients. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a dedicated team in beautiful Camarillo, CA.

Responsibilities:

Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures.

Administer medications and vaccinations as directed.

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.

Provide excellent customer service to pet owners and clients.

Monitor and care for animals post-treatment and during recovery.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic.

Educate pet owners on proper care and health practices.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; veterinary assistant certification preferred.

Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.

Basic knowledge of animal health and behavior.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Current CPR and First Aid certification for pets is a plus.
