Nicholasville Road Animal Hospital is a locally owned veterinary clinic in Lexington, providing reliable care for dogs, cats, and exotics since 1982. We are proud to provide comprehensive veterinary services for all pets, including exotic animals. Our experienced team of veterinarians and staff provide expert care and personalized attention to both pets and their owners.
Position:
Client Service Representative. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and compassionate Veterinary Client Service Representative to join our team. This position is the first point of contact for our clients and patients and plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while supporting our veterinary team.

Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and patients in a warm, professional manner
- Answer multi-line phones and schedule appointments accurately
- Manage other forms of electronic communication (i.e. Texting, Email, Fax)
- Check clients in and out, including processing payments
- Maintain accurate medical records and client information
- Communicate clearly with veterinarians and technical staff
- Manage prescription and food requests
- Keep the reception area clean and welcoming
- Provide outstanding client education and support
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous veterinary or medical reception experience preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable working with computers and practice management software
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Passion for animal care and client service
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Comfortable being around dogs, cats, and other animals
Schedule:
- Monday thru Friday (with a scheduled day off during the week)
- Rotating Saturdays
