We are looking for Veterinary Technicians and/or Experienced Assistants in our ER department for all shifts. We are searching for applicants who have a passion for providing quality care to patients and excellent service to owners. Responsibilities include greeting clients and obtaining a thorough history, obtaining TPR's unassisted, working in the electronic medical record, performing treatments and assisting doctors with procedures. Must be able to efficiently perform venipuncture, catheter placement, analyze urine and fecal samples, perform blood work, position and acquire radiographs, give injectable and oral medications, and educate clients. Successful candidates will be self-motivated, able to multi-task, complete all patient paperwork and electronic medical record entries, possess a great attitude, learn quickly, and have a good attention to detail, as patient care is paramount. Experienced assistants will be considered but registration/licensure is preferred.

Familiar with Microsoft Office programs and ability to learn electronic medical record system.  Shifts include evenings, weekends, and holidays.  RVT preferred, but not required.
