We are looking for a Veterinary Technician and/or Experienced Assistant for our ER department who has a passion for providing quality care to patients and excellent service to owners. Responsibilities include greeting clients and obtaining a thorough history, obtaining TPR unassisted, working in the electronic medical record, performing treatments and assisting doctors with procedures. Must be able to efficiently perform venipuncture, catheter placement, analyze urine and fecal samples, perform blood work, position and acquire radiographs, give injectable and oral medications, and educate clients. Successful candidates will be self-motivated, able to multi-task, complete all patient paperwork and electronic medical record entries, possess a great attitude, learn quickly, and have a good attention to detail, as patient care is paramount. Experienced assistants will be considered but registration/licensure is preferred.

Position is part-time with hours during evenings, weekends, and holidays. There is potential for full-time hours in the future, along with a comprehensive benefits package, dependent on competency and growth. Familiar with Microsoft Office programs and ability to learn electronic medical record system.  RVT preferred, but not required. Hourly salary based on experience and certification.
