You’ll act as the first point of contact for our Clements Ferry Veterinary family, answer phone calls, maintain the appointment schedule, monitor our texting platform, divert and respond to email communication, and offer exceptional service to our Daniel Island clientele. Responsibilities: • Greet visitors, clients, and fellow employees when they arrive at the front desk and provide them with any necessary directions or information • Take incoming phone calls and respond to emails and ensure the appropriate people receive all relevant information • Complete other administrative duties as needed such as data entry, paperwork, photocopying, etc. • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and handle deliveries • Check-out service for all appointments as well as retail sales. • Process appointment requests, prescription refill requests, records requests, and messages for doctors and support staff. • Audit the appointment schedule for accuracy and request records for new or inactive patients. • Offer humble service to all clients over the phone, through written messages as well as in person, ensuring their comfort as a valued member of our CFV family. Qualifications: • Has experience answering telephone calls and troubleshooting stressful situations • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office • 1+ year of front desk receptionist experience or related job experience preferred • Must have graduated high school, received a G.E.D. or equivalent • Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills • 1+ year of work experience in veterinary medicine, including knowledge of canine and feline vaccine protocols, flea and heartworm prevention, and infectious small animal diseases. Compensation: $18 - $20 hourly
