About the Role:

Join our dedicated team at Sierra Animal Wellness Center as a Veterinary Receptionist! In this exciting role, you will be the first point of contact for our furry clients and their owners, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

Greet clients and their pets with a friendly demeanor upon arrival.

Manage appointment scheduling, confirm upcoming visits and maintain an organized calendar.

Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries with professionalism.

Process payments and manage client records accurately.

Assist veterinary staff with administrative tasks as needed.

Maintain a clean, well organized and welcoming reception area.

Educate clients on services and products offered at the clinic.

Handle client concerns and feedback with empathy and efficiency.

Requirements:

Previous experience in veterinary or animal care preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in using office software and scheduling systems.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Compassionate and patient demeanor towards animals and clients.

High school diploma or equivalent required; further education is a plus.

Willingness to learn about pet health and wellness.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
