    Valley Veterinary Clinic in Twisp, WA is hiring veterinary interns for Summer 2026! Come spend your summer with us in the spectacular Methow Valley in North Central Washington!

    Apply now for 8-week paid summer internship from June 15, 2026 to August 7, 2026 (WSU) or July 6, 2026 to September 4, 2026 (OSU).

    We provide training and mentorship in small animal medicine. You'll gain practice in diagnosing, treating and performing operations in a supportive learning environment. What sets us apart is that we are a clinic, not a corporation. We practice veterinary medicine, not profit maximization.

    Work hours are Monday through Thursday, 9 am to 5 pm, with Fridays off. Pay is $22/hour. **

    Who You Are

    • You are enrolled as a student in a DVM program
    • You are ready to relocate for 8-weeks to the Methow Valley, WA. Housing assistance is available. Here's more information about the Methow Valley and all it offers.
    • You have professional maturity and take responsibility for your own learning. We will provide you the learning environment and mentoring.
    • You have a strong attention to detail. It's easy for you to keep track of the details of your work and learning--you don't need to be reminded.
    • You have a strong desire to be a good team member. You prefer working in a team because you work best with others. You are a low-maintenance team member.
    • You're dependable and you don't miss work unless it's for an important reason.

    What You'll Do

    • Work alongside us in diagnosing and treating small animals.
    • Watch and learn, then assist with anesthesia, dentistry and some soft tissue surgery.
    • Watch and learn, then assist in interacting with pet owners.
    • Act as a full clinic team member. Come to work each day on time. Pitch in and help.
    • Enjoy Fridays off and spend time exploring the Methow Valley and North Central Washington.
