Responsibilities: • Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures. • Perform diagnostic tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and radiographs. • Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by the veterinarian. • Monitor and maintain patient records, including medical history and treatment plans. • Provide nursing care to hospitalized animals, including monitoring vital signs and administering treatments. • Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sterilization of instruments and equipment. • Support the front desk staff with client communication and appointment scheduling as needed. • Stay current with veterinary practices and continuing education. Qualifications: • 2 years of experience working as a veterinary technician • LVT preferred but not required • Excellent communication skills and team-orientated • Flexible scheduling Monday-Friday with rotating Saturday mornings Compensation: $17 - $19 hourly
