🐾 Experienced Veterinary Technician Wanted – Join Our Team! 🐾

The Animal Hospital of Los Lunas is looking for a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team! We are a busy small-animal practice providing wellness care, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, laser therapy and client education for dogs, cats & small farm animals. Our team is compassionate, hardworking, and committed to providing the best care to our patients and clients.

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 2+ years of veterinary technician experience

Strong skills in anesthesia monitoring, dentistry, radiology, laboratory work, and patient handling

Excellent communication and client service skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment

Dependability, attention to detail, and a positive attitude

Responsibilities Include:

Assisting veterinarians in exams, treatments, and surgeries

Monitoring anesthesia and ensuring patient safety

Performing dental cleanings and dental radiographs

Collecting samples, running in-house labs, and preparing send-out tests

Placing IV catheters, administering medications, and providing nursing care

Educating clients on preventive care and treatment plans

Maintaining accurate medical records and a clean, organized work environment

Full Time- 4 days a week 7:45am-5:30pm, Every Other Saturday 7:45am-1:00pm
