Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and thrives in a fast-paced general practice setting.

Key Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures

Collect patient histories and maintain accurate medical records

Perform laboratory tests (bloodwork, urinalysis, cytology, etc.)

Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed

Monitor anesthesia and assist in surgical prep and recovery

Take and develop radiographs (X-rays)

Educate clients on pet care, medications, and preventive health

Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas

Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a similar role

Knowledge of animal care and handling

Excellent communication skills

Ability to multi-task and remain organized in a busy environment

Patience and a love for animals
