    RedStone Ranch is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Veterinary Technician Manager to oversee animal health care and lead our animal care team. This role is hands-on and leadership focused, ideal for someone who is confident working with a variety of farm animals and understands that animal care is a 24/7 responsibility.

    Responsibilities

    Provide daily medical care and health monitoring for ranch animals

    Administer IVs, medications, and deworming treatments

    Assist with emergency and urgent animal care situations

    Develop and maintain health protocols and treatment records

    Be responsible for the daily feeding of all ranch animals

    Manage ranch hands and oversee daily animal care operations

    Ensure ranch hands are properly supporting feeding duties as needed

    Ensure proper daily care routines and handling of animals are followed

    Ensure animal pens are properly cleaned and maintained daily

    Maintain overall barnyard cleanliness, organization, and safety standards

    Work closely with ranch leadership to ensure the highest standards of animal welfare

    Monitor animal behavior and identify potential health concerns early

    Ensure proper sanitation, safety, and biosecurity practices are followed

    Qualifications

    Previous veterinary technician experience required

    Experience administering IV fluids, medications, and deworming treatments

    Prior leadership or team management experience required

    Strong understanding of animal care

    Ability to work in fast-paced, outdoor environments

    Comfortable handling large and small animals safely

    Reliable, responsible, and calm under pressureExcellent communication skills

    Ability to multi-task and remain organized in a busy environment

    Patience and a love for animals
