We are a privately-owned single doctor urgent care practice in New Braunfels, TX, and we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to provide exceptional care to our animal patients and clients during our evening/day shifts on Monday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday. This role requires expertise in animal handling, laboratory procedures, veterinary terminology, patient care, surgery, and drug dose calculations. We are willing to train less experienced candidates. Full-time schedule is M&F 4 pm-12 am and Saturday & Sunday 1 pm-12 am. Responsibilities: • Assist with medical procedures, surgeries, and diagnostics • Administer medications and monitor anesthesia • Place IV catheters • Drug dose calculations • Maintain accurate patient records • Educate pet owners on care and treatment • Participate in Team Meetings Qualifications: • Certified Veterinary Technician (LVT) preferred • 2+ years working as a Veterinary Technician required • Experience with Urgent/Emergency Care preferred • Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of aseptic techniques • Excellent multitasking and communication skills • We are willing to train less experienced candidates - pay rate determined by level of experience and skill Compensation: $20 - $25 hourly
