    Veterinary Technician / Assistant Position Details

    We are seeking compassionate, detail-oriented veterinary professionals who enjoy client communication and high-quality patient care.

    Veterinary experience preferred (technician or assistant)

    On-the-job training available for the right candidate

    Credentialed veterinary technicians will be utilized to their full scope and act as team leaders for surgical and hospitalized patients as well as emergencies and client communication.

    Key Responsibilities (Veterinary Technician / Assistant)

    Patient intake, handling, and restraint

    Vaccine administration and treatments

    Phlebotomy and laboratory testing

    Radiograph positioning and imaging

    Patient monitoring and nursing care

    Client education and discharge instructions

    Medical record keeping and documentation

    General hospital maintenance

    Advanced technician duties may include:

    IV catheter placement

    Surgical assistance

    Anesthesia induction and monitoring

    Dental prophylaxis and dental radiography

    Administrative tasks may include appointment scheduling, phone support, inventory management, controlled substance logging, and staff training.
