OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for embedded systems engineers to support our vehicle electronics research and development efforts at our facility located at the Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR) in Greenville, SC. These engineers will assist in the research and development of autonomous technologies for military, industrial, and commercial applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

• Design and integrate hardware and firmware for embedded systems
• Develop product test systems
• Assist in the development of vehicle electronics architectures

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

• Degree in engineering or technology (Electrical, Computer science, Computer engineering)
• Proficient in electronics design and firmware development
• Experience with C/C++ programming languages
• Ability to be self-directed
• Good time management and communication skills
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Work experience in embedded systems development
• CAN bus
• Ethernet
• SPI, I2C
• Experience with FPGAs and microcontrollers
• GUIs
• Vehicle sensors
• Autonomous vehicle systems
• Power management
• LabVIEW
