  • Responsibilities

    VetsEZ is seeking a Business Analyst/Scrum Master to be responsible for analyzing specific business processes regarding department operations methods and controls. An ideal candidate will have experience engaging with business stakeholders, collecting, and evaluating business needs and processes. The Business Analyst/Scrum Master has experience in the effective use of data provided by cost estimators to create overall cost versus benefit assessment while considering functional benefits, technical performance, risks, and schedule concerns.

    The candidate must reside within the continental US.

    Responsibilities:

    • Works on analyzing, designing, implementing, and supporting IT business applications and systems.

    • Responsible for individual projects and systems.

    • Analyzes user needs to determine functional and cross-functional requirements.

    • Testing functionality and matching to requirements.

    • Produce data samples from existing production systems, understand and document
      the changes that need to be implemented, and maintain best practices.

    • Collaborate with other system engineers on integration
      discussions.

    • Communicates project status, escalates issues, and manages timelines and action items.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in in Analysis, a technical discipline, or any other relevant discipline is required.

    • Minimum of 5 years of professional analyst experience.

    • Experience conducting research and analysis and experience with requirements elaboration and analysis.

    • Experience teaching processes and tools to new users.

    • Broad knowledge of IT systems, processes and controls.

    • Ability to build strong customer and cross-organizational relationships.

    • Intermediate to advanced Proficiency with Microsoft tool suite, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio.

    • Ability to work cross-functionally with different team members and stakeholders.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication including effective documentation skills.

    Additional Qualifications:

    • VA Source Code and CM Tools (e.g., Jira, Github, etc.).

    • Experience with technical reference architecture.

    • Experience with architectural frameworks (DODAF, FEAF)

    • Ability to obtain a government clearance.

    • CSM certified
