    We are currently seeking a BUSINESS ANALYST to work on an enterprise-level project within the Department of Veteran Affairs. This project will work on several product lines and be pivotal to the success of the community care program within the Department of Veteran Affairs.  

     RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Present briefings for recurring financial meetings/quarterly finance reviews to both internal and external clients and prepare for government review periods. 
    • Assist the government with applying acquisition guides and assist project teams with cloud-specific requirements involving migrating legacy applications to/or implementing new applications. 
    • Conduct both qualitative and quantitative capital planning inputs and budget year determinations. 
    • Facilitate weekly meetings to update teams across various product lines on status of budgets, acquisitions, and development of IT life cycle funding requests. 
    • Monitor monthly contractual obligations through traceability matrix and communicate any issues to specified government teams to address and resolve. Work across multiple offices and keep records of action items following meetings. 
    • Communicate with IT Subject Matter Experts and other government employees to address portfolio status and provide budget management technical support to product line management teams.

     

    REQUIREMENTS: 

    • A minimum of 5 years of experience and a bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Accounting, or related discipline is required. 
    • Experience maintaining reporting requirements, from status reports to progress tracking for awards and other funding. 
    • Experience submitting financial requirements packages within a specified timeframe, while adhering to compliance and SOPs. 
    • Ability to decipher Performance Work Statement (PWS) terms and IT requirements. 
    • Experience working closely with databases, spreadsheets, MS Office, and financial tracking software applications.
