    We are currently seeking a POWER BI DEVELOPER (REMOTE OPPORTUNITY) to support ongoing analysis and visualization efforts within the Department of Veterans Affairs.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Design and create a variety of integral reports utilizing dashboards and other visualization tools.
    • Develop and maintain automated reports and dashboards using SQL Server, and/or SSRS/SSIS/SSAS.
    • Manage data loads, security, and integrity of a data mart.
    • Analyze and model structured data using advanced statistical methods and implement algorithms and software needed to perform analysis.
    • Collaborate with multiple teams and clients to understand and recommend analytic solutions.
    • Interpret and analyze data collected from a variety of sources using exploratory and statistical techniques, validating findings using an experimental and iterative approaches.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related discipline.
    • At least 5 years of experience in business intelligence and analytics.
    • Proficiency querying data sources, including Azure, Amazon S3, Amazon RedShift, and RDS.
    • Experience and understanding of Agile software development lifecycle.
    • Exceptional written/oral communication skills.

    ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Experience working with the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs or other government agencies.
    • Ability to obtain a Government clearance.
