VIBE CODER / AI-ASSISTED SOFTWARE DEVELOPER- Fully Remote

    Fully Remote

We’re looking for a smart, resourceful builder who wants to join an early-stage technology startup and help shape the future of a software product that has already been built. The foundation is in place, but the product needs significant cleanup, refinement, and innovation.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys solving challenging problems, working independently, and turning ideas into useful, reliable software. You’ll work closely with the founder, take ownership of projects, and have a meaningful voice in how the product evolves.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO

    • Learn the existing product and codebase, identify issues, and recommend practical improvements.

    • Clean up and refactor existing software, fix bugs, and improve performance, security, reliability, and maintainability.

    • Design, build, test, and improve features that make the product more valuable and easier to use.

    • Use Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and local large language models (LLMs) to investigate problems, develop solutions, and accelerate delivery.

    • Review, understand, test, and debug AI-generated code, taking responsibility for the quality of the final product.

    • Explore new AI tools, models, integrations, and workflows that could improve the product and development process.

    • Take projects from idea through implementation and communicate progress, decisions, and roadblocks clearly.

    • Work directly with the founder to prioritize needs and turn feedback into practical improvements.

    WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

    • Hands-on ability to use Claude Code and Codex for real software development work.

    • Experience working with different locally run LLMs, including choosing and using models for appropriate tasks.

    • Demonstrated ability to build, troubleshoot, and improve software through professional work, personal projects, or startup experience.

    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn a codebase, investigate issues, and make sound decisions independently.

    • Comfort with debugging, testing, version control, software security, and maintaining code.

    • Initiative, follow-through, creativity, and comfort working in a startup environment with evolving priorities.

    • Clear communication and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fully remote setting.

    • A product mindset and a desire to build something useful for real people.

    THE OPPORTUNITY

Join early and help transform an existing product into something better. We’re looking for someone who is excited to grow with the company and is interested in the possibility of equity over time. Any equity arrangement, including timing and terms, would be discussed and agreed upon separately.

    HOW TO EXPRESS INTEREST

Tell us about software or projects you’ve built or improved, how you use Claude Code, Codex, and local LLMs, and what interests you about joining an early-stage startup.
