Job Description
The Vice President - Commercial is a strategic leader who manages the team responsible for the planning, execution, and optimization of core business operations with a specific focus on the 5P’s (Product, Price, Promotion/Marketing, Place, and Process). The business management team ensures cross-functional alignment across departments, drives delivery of the Product PnL budget, and supports the company’s long-term growth objectives. The VP will also lead company-wide strategic initiatives as well as manage the quality assurance and food safety teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Understand the business' financial goals and drive decisions to meet/exceed company’s budgeted goals
- Manage the collective pillars of the business management process: Product, Price, Promotion, Place
- Develop pricing strategy to drive positive like for like sales and margin improvement
- Drive product innovation/recipe management, commercial activation on POS and merchandising
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement decisions at pace
- Lead and manage a high-performing business management team and their deliverables as well as strategic growth as individuals and team
- Set and communicate a clear innovation roadmap/vision that aligns with business goals that vary by specific retailer formats and categories
- Collab with Culinary, Ops and Supply Chain to ensure product feasibility, quality and scalability
- Harmonize retailer specific commonalities to increase efficiency while driving satisfaction
- Draw insights from data, market research and experience to make effective, timely decisions
- Establish/track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of product launches and marketing campaigns
- Understand consumer needs/satisfaction to adapt innovation and portfolio management
- Leverage franchisee feedback to permanently improve the offering
- Ability to capture a wide variety of data points, including business goals, risks and priorities to make sound decisions that deliver results
- Manage the Quality and Food Safety team to ensure we have industry leading operational practices that proactively identify and address risk areas to prevent them from become consumer/retailer issues
All corporate positions are required to work onsite at the office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week.
