    About the Role:
This role is seeking an accomplished and strategic Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead financial strategy and performance management for the growing Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and healthcare organization. This highly visible leadership role partners directly with the CFO, CEO, and senior leadership team to shape the future of the business.

The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, capable of zooming out for long-term planning while diving deep into operational details when needed. Success in this role requires intellectual curiosity, independence, and the ability to anticipate leadership’s needs before they are articulated.

    Role Responsibilities:

    • Partner with the CFO, CEO, and senior leadership as a trusted advisor, providing fact-based insights that drive strategic decision-making.
    • Lead the FP&A function—forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, and financial modeling—with accuracy, timeliness, and strategic alignment.
    • Lead financial due diligence, planning, and modeling to support acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and new payor contract opportunities.
    • Build and mentor a high-performing FP&A team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
    • Forge strong partnerships with leaders across Operations, Sales, Marketing, Clinical Services, and HR to ensure alignment and accountability.
    • Stay deeply connected to business operations, proactively sourcing information, identifying financial implications, and addressing challenges without waiting for direction.
    • Deliver analytically driven recommendations—grounded in data, not opinions—to enable confident, high-quality decisions.
    • Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights and compelling presentations for leadership and the Board.
    • Drive continuous improvement by enhancing financial systems, reporting tools, and analytical processes to support scalability and efficiency.
    • Seamlessly pivot between long-term strategic planning and detailed financial analysis as business needs evolve.

    Qualifications:

    • 10+ years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles.
    • Proven success operating at both strategic and tactical levels, with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
    • Strong analytical and communication skills—able to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.
    • Demonstrated track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
    • Expert in Excel (advanced modeling) and PowerPoint (executive-level presentations); ERP/financial systems/data warehouse expertise required.
    • Independent, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
    • Experience leading organizations through growth, transformation, and system implementations.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • MBA, CPA, or CFA credential strongly preferred.
    • Experience in healthcare or DME industries, including knowledge of healthcare payor models and logistics.
    • Proven track record of driving profitability, growth initiatives, and process improvements in complex or regulated environments.
