  • Responsibilities

    LSG, an impact agency specializing in brand building, corporate reputation management, and public affairs, seeks a vice president to lead the strategy, innovation, and performance of all paid media initiatives across digital and traditional channels. This role is ideal for a seasoned media executive who thrives at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and creative storytelling — someone who can drive measurable growth while working with clients to reach their goals leveraging multiple platforms.

    This is a hybrid role based in our downtown DC office Monday-Thursday, with remote work available on Fridays.

    Key Responsibilities

    Strategic Leadership:

    • Develop and execute overarching paid media strategies aligned with objectives, brand positioning, and budget.
    • Oversee integrated media planning across paid search, paid social, display, video, programmatic, streaming, out-of-home and emerging channels.
    • Partner with client team to deliver proposals and concepts that align with a client's goals.

    Performance & Optimization:

    • Oversee ROI-focused media planning and execution with clear KPIs and attribution models.
    • Oversee testing frameworks (creative, audience, platform mix) to continuously optimize performance.
    • Champion a data-driven approach, ensuring insights and analytics to ensure client growth.

    Team Leadership & Development:

    • Educate, coach, and lead colleagues.
    • Foster collaboration across internal teams and agency partners to maximize campaign impact.
    • Cultivate a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.

    Budget Management:

    • Oversee management of campaign budgets ranging from small to multimillion-dollars and ensure optimal allocation across channels.
    • Partner with across team to forecast, monitor, and report on spend and performance.

    Business Development & Client Growth:

    • Partner with senior leadership to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert in paid media during pitch processes and client presentations.
    • Collaborate to develop strategic media proposals to drive new business.
    • Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients to identify opportunities for account expansion and cross-channel integration.
    • Represent the organization at industry events and conferences to enhance visibility and support lead generation efforts.

    Industry & Innovation:

    • Stay ahead of media trends, technologies, and platform innovations.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key media partners and vendors.
    • Identify and test new opportunities in emerging platforms, tools, and data solutions.

    Qualifications

    • 8-12 years of progressive experience in paid media strategy and execution across digital and traditional channels.
    • Proven track record leading integrated, high-impact advocacy media campaigns.
    • Deep understanding of paid media tactics, channels, performance marketing metrics, data analytics and reporting.
    • Expertise with major platforms including Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, programmatic and an understanding of how tactics work best together to achieve client goals.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience presenting to and managing clients, leading paid media teams and cross-functional initiatives.
    • Collaborative, hands on, team player who is eager to assist in building a team within a growing agency.

    What We Offer

    • Base salary: $170,000 - $190,000 per year, plus annual performance bonus eligibility
