    Overview

    NBCUniversal’s Global Advertising & Partnerships team is leading the transformation of premium video advertising. We’re looking for a Vice President, Programmatic Agency Partnerships to strengthen and expand our relationships with agency holding companies and their programmatic investment teams.

    This leader will be responsible for driving programmatic adoption across NBCU’s streaming portfolio, forging senior-level relationships, and aligning with agency partners on data, technology, and automation strategies that deliver meaningful business outcomes for clients.

    Key Responsibilities

    Client Relationships

    • Serve as a senior lead across agency holding companies, focused on programmatic investment, innovation, and automation.
    • Build and nurture executive relationships with agency trading desks, investment leads, and programmatic strategists to grow programmatic revenue in the upfront and scatter marketplaces.
    • Represent NBCU’s capabilities in key external conferences as well as agency QBRs and strategic partnership discussions.

    Strategic Growth & Partnership Development

    • Champion the adoption of NBCU’s programmatic offerings across the streaming ecosystem, including programmatic guaranteed, private marketplace, and audience-based buying.
    • Collaborate with agency partners to create new programmatic solutions leveraging data, technology, and measurement innovation.
    • Partner closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of programmatic solutions into broader client strategies.
    • Identify and unlock new partnership opportunities with data collaboration, identity, and tech platforms that enhance agency value propositions.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration & Market Positioning

    • Stay ahead of evolving programmatic trends, marketplace shifts, and emerging technologies to help NBCU and its partners innovate.
    • Represent NBCU at key industry events and thought leadership forums related to programmatic and automation.
    • Lead internal education and external sales efforts for new products and innovations, such as retail media networks, data clean rooms, and ad product suites.

    Leadership & Team Management

    • Lead a high-performing team responsible for agency and client engagement dedicated to programmatic revenue growth.
    • Set clear goals, KPIs, and success metrics aligned to business growth and client impact.
    • Foster a collaborative, forward-thinking culture that bridges commercial strategy and technical fluency.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Basic Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
    • 10+ years of experience in digital media, programmatic advertising, or agency investment strategy.
    • Strong existing relationships across major agency holding companies and programmatic investment teams.
    • Proven track record of driving revenue growth through consultative partnership management.
    • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive relationship-building skills.
    • Experience managing teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed organization.

    Additional Requirements

    This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

    Salary Range: $205,000-$280,000
