Vice President of Operations – Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)
Location: Remote (Travel Required)
Reports To: Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Compensation: $100,000 – $150,000 annually, depending on experience
Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Vice President of Operations to lead the end-to-end revenue cycle operations for a dynamic healthcare organization. This executive leader will be responsible for the delivery, quality, and performance of all revenue cycle functions and departments. The ideal candidate is an operational powerhouse with a proven track record of managing global teams, driving measurable performance through data, and fostering seamless communication between teams and executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee all aspects of revenue cycle operations, ensuring consistent delivery, high quality, and optimal performance across departments.
· Lead and mentor a diverse, global operations team, promoting a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
· Develop and maintain performance dashboards, KPIs, and reporting structures to track operational health and proactively address variances.
· Partner with senior leadership to align operational strategy with organizational goals and client expectations.
· Ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements across all revenue cycle activities.
· Drive operational efficiency through process optimization, technology enablement, and best practice implementation.
· Provide clear, concise, and transparent communication to both subordinates and executives to ensure alignment and smooth execution of initiatives.
· Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to enhance client satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
· Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies impacting the RCM space.
Qualifications:
· 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in revenue cycle management or healthcare operations.
· Proven experience managing large, global teams across multiple time zones.
· Expertise in operational analytics, KPI management, and data-driven decision-making.
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
· Strong background in process improvement, change management, and operational scaling.
· Willingness and ability to travel regularly as business needs dictate.
Preferred Skills:
· Familiarity with multiple practice management systems and RCM technologies.
· Demonstrated success in turnaround or optimization projects.
