    Job Description

    The Vice President, Treasurer will oversee all aspects of the company’s investing and capital markets activity, including cash and investing management, banking relationships, debt management and transactional card processing. This position reports directly to the SVP, Corporate Controller and will be key leader working cross-functionally across several teams including Finance, Property Operations and IT.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

    • Overseeing the organization’s global cash flow, including banking relationships, deposits and payments
    • Managing financial risks such as foreign currency exposure, interest rate risk and credit risk
    • Overseeing the company’s debt obligations, including refinance activities, use of credit facilities and ensuring compliance with loan covenants
    • Developing and implementing investment strategies to maximize returns while minimizing risks
    • Developing and implementing strategies to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations, capital expenditures, dividend distributions and acquisitions
    • Overseeing card processing activities and troubleshooting unprocessed activity
    • Maintaining effecting controls over wire transfer transactions
    • Oversee and develop a team of treasury professionals, including setting strategic direction and implementing policies and procedures
    • Contribute to the Company’s overall financial strategy and provide input on financial decisions
    • Work closely with other functions, including accounting, finance and legal to ensure smooth operations and compliance
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting
    • 15+ years of progressive experience in treasury roles, preferably within the Real Estate Industry
    • Experience with SAP ERP preferred

    • Proven ability to lead and manage a team, motivate employees and foster a collaborative work environment
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to identify and resolve issues and discrepancies
