    Position Summary

    Our client is seeking a visionary Vice President of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to shape and execute the company’s next generation of AI-driven cybersecurity solutions. This executive will define how our client leverages AI to detect threats earlier, respond faster, and protect customers at scale. The VP of AI will establish a unified AI vision across product lines, data assets, and engineering processes — turning advanced models into customer-visible outcomes that strengthen digital resilience and operational efficiency. The VP of AI will build and manage a world-class team of AI engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

     

    Key Responsibilities of the VP of AI


    Strategic Vision & Leadership:

    • Define an AI transformation roadmap that aligns with overarching business objectives and product vision.
    • Create an AI Center of Excellence to promote best practices, governance, and talent development across company.
    • Lead and nurture a high-performing team of AI engineers, machine learning specialists, and data scientists, fostering innovation and collaboration.


    Product Development & Innovation:

    • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered features across product offerings (e.g., threat detection, risk scoring, data analysis, automation).
    • Lead the transition to LLM-augmented workflows (e.g., retrieval-augmented generation, agentic automation, summarization, and autonomous triage).
    • Establish MLOps and LLMOps practices ensuring scalable model deployment, monitoring, and retraining.
    • Stay current with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and data science, driving research and experimentation to solve complex digital risk challenges.


      Collaboration & Data Management:

    • Partner closely with product management, engineering, intelligence, and sales & marketing teams to identify AI opportunities, define requirements, and ensure successful delivery of AI solutions.
    • Build and maintain a unified data architecture to ensure the availability of high-quality data essential for AI model training, validation, and deployment.


    Performance & Compliance:

    • Establish and monitor metrics for AI model performance in production, continuously optimizing for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
    • Provide expert technical guidance to the AI team and the broader organization.
    • Work with DevSecOps and ITSEC to ensure compliance with data protection, company security standards, and all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.

     

    Qualifications

    • 15+ years in technology roles, with 7+ years leading AI/ML or data-science organizations at scale.
    • Proven record of deploying AI or ML systems in cybersecurity, risk intelligence, or large-scale SaaS platforms.
    • Expertise in machine learning, LLMs, generative AI, MLOps/LLMOps, and cloud-native AI infrastructure.
    • Deep understanding of data privacy, model governance, and AI-security interdependencies.
    • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related discipline
    • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Compensation
    $225,000-$325,000 per year
