    The Vice President of Business Development will play a pivotal role in driving strategic growth by spearheading expansion into new states and developing new service divisions. Based in our main office, this executive leadership position will focus on identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to establish new home health care centers and homecare positions in untapped markets. The role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in healthcare business development, particularly in navigating Medicaid programs, to ensure compliance and maximize reimbursement opportunities. The VP will leverage their expertise in customer relationship management (CRM) systems to build and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders, including healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies, to fuel sustainable growth.

    Responsibilities

    • Strategic Expansion Planning : Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to expand the company's footprint into new states, identifying high-potential markets for home health care services.
    • Division and Center Development : Oversee the creation of new service divisions and home health care centers, including site selection, regulatory compliance, staffing, and operational setup to ensure seamless launches.
    • Medicaid Program Expertise : Leverage deep knowledge of Medicaid regulations and reimbursement processes to secure funding and ensure compliance for new homecare positions and centers in various states.
    • Stakeholder Relationship Management : Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, community organizations, and state agencies, to support expansion and service delivery goals.
    • CRM Utilization : Utilize advanced CRM systems to track leads, manage partnerships, and monitor business development progress, ensuring data-driven decision-making and efficient pipeline management.
    • Team Leadership and Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and clinical leadership, to align business development initiatives with organizational goals and capabilities.
    • Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification : Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and growth opportunities in the home health care sector.
    • Budget and Financial Oversight : Develop and manage budgets for new divisions and centers, ensuring cost-effective expansion while meeting financial performance targets.
    • Compliance and Quality Assurance : Ensure all new centers and homecare positions adhere to state and federal regulations, as well as the company's high standards for quality care.
    • Reporting and Performance Metrics : Provide regular reports to senior leadership on business development progress, including key performance indicators (KPIs) such as new market penetration, revenue growth, and client acquisition.

    Qualifications

    • Education : Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
    • Experience : Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in business development within the healthcare industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on home health care or related services.
    • Medicaid Expertise : Extensive knowledge of Medicaid programs, including reimbursement processes, eligibility criteria, and state-specific regulations.
    • CRM Proficiency : Demonstrated expertise in using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage leads, track performance, and drive business outcomes.
    • Proven Track Record : Successful history of expanding healthcare services into new markets, including launching new divisions or facilities.
    • Leadership Skills : Strong leadership and team-building abilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.
    • Analytical Acumen : Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct market research and translate insights into actionable strategies.
    • Communication and Relationship Building : Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
    • Regulatory Knowledge : Familiarity with state and federal healthcare regulations, particularly those governing home health care services.

    Compensation

    The Vice President of Business Development will receive a competitive base salary ranging from $150,000 to $175,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, the role offers performance-based bonuses, with the potential to achieve an On-Target Earnings (OTE) of up to $300,000 annually.
