About the position
FASTSIGNS International, Inc., a global leader in signage and visual communications, seeks an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Franchise Operations. This pivotal role is responsible for leading our Learning and Development (L&D) and Franchise Business Consulting (FBC) departments, driving growth, profitability, and operational excellence across our franchise network. The VP will collaborate with the Brand President to develop and implement strategies that ensure the ongoing success of our franchisees and align with FASTSIGNS overarching goals.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for the VP of Franchise Operations will be a seasoned leader with over a decade of experience in management and franchising, preferably within the Sign or Print Industry. They will possess a proven track record of driving operational excellence and business growth. The candidate needs to reside or relocate to the Dallas metroplex within 90 days of employment.
Essential Functions
Strategic Leadership
Partner with the Brand President and leadership team to create and implement initiatives that enhance franchisee performance and business growth.
Develop and execute operational strategies supporting FASTSIGNS long-term goals, ensuring network-wide consistency and quality.
Learning and Development
Lead the L&D department to deliver training programs that achieve franchisee operational excellence.
Continuously improve L&D initiatives with innovative approaches aligned with company objectives.
Ensure high-quality educational content for annual company events is delivered on time.
Franchise Business Consulting
Guide the FBC department in optimizing franchise operations, financial performance, and brand compliance.
Foster strong franchisee relationships as a trusted advisor, driving continuous improvement through KPI monitoring and action plans.
Collaboration and Communication
Serve as a liaison between corporate and franchisees, maintaining open communication and strong partnerships.
Oversee network communications and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a cohesive brand experience.
Team Leadership
Manage and develop high-performing L&D and FBC teams, promoting accountability and collaboration.
Set clear team goals, assess performance, and promote a positive work environment aligned with FASTSIGNS values.
What We Need
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree, MBA or advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of management and franchising experience with a proven track record in operational excellence and growth.
Established leadership in L&D and FBC within a franchise setting.
Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills.
Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and performance metrics analysis.
Experience in the Sign or Print Industry is strongly preferred.
Additional Requirements
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
Must reside in the Dallas metroplex or relocate within 90 days of employment.
