    Vice President, Human Resources Operations

    Role Overview

    Aligned Solutions is seeking a Vice President of Human Resources Operations for a well respected company. The Vice President of Human Resources Operations provides executive leadership for the systems, services, and infrastructure that enable the people function to operate at scale. This role is responsible for building and evolving a centralized HR operations model that supports accuracy, consistency, and high service standards across the organization.

    The position oversees human capital systems, operational service delivery, HR program execution, and compliance functions, with future accountability for compensation and benefits administration. Success in this role requires the ability to translate strategy into execution while ensuring that employee-facing processes are efficient, compliant, and experience-driven.

    This leader works in close partnership with the Chief Human Resources Officer, HR leadership, and business executives to ensure HR operations are reliable, data-informed, and aligned with enterprise priorities.

    Key Responsibilities

    HR Operations Strategy & Leadership

    • Establish the long-term operating model for HR operations, aligning priorities with enterprise objectives

    • Advise executive leadership on HR infrastructure, process design, regulatory risk, and operational scalability

    • Ensure HR operations supports a consistent, high-quality employee experience across all stages of employment

    Human Capital Systems & Data

    • Direct the strategy, configuration, and ongoing optimization of the organization’s HR technology ecosystem

    • Oversee system integrations, data quality standards, and user access governance

    • Develop workforce reporting and analytics capabilities that support leadership decision-making

    Program Execution & Change Delivery

    • Lead enterprise HR initiatives through disciplined planning, execution, and change management

    • Coordinate major HR programs such as annual planning cycles, system implementations, and policy transitions

    • Strengthen organizational capability in project delivery and operational change adoption

    Service Delivery & Administration

    • Oversee employment records management, regulatory documentation, verification processes, and vendor billing

    • Manage employee lifecycle operations including onboarding, offboarding, leave administration, and policy execution

    • Ensure employee service teams deliver timely, professional, and solutions-oriented support

    Compensation, Benefits & Vendor Oversight

    • Guide the design and administration of pay and benefits programs that align with market and business needs

    • Lead annual compensation review processes in partnership with HR leadership

    • Manage external provider relationships to ensure service quality, compliance, and cost control

    Compliance, Controls & Risk Management

    • Ensure HR operational processes meet regulatory, audit, and internal control requirements

    • Partner with legal, finance, payroll, and technology teams to maintain data security and compliance standards

    • Monitor and mitigate operational and regulatory risk across HR services

    Operational Performance

    • Establish service-level benchmarks and system reliability standards

    • Improve efficiency through process redesign, automation, and technology enablement

    • Enable HR partners to focus on workforce strategy by centralizing and optimizing operational delivery

    • Limited travel may be required

    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications & Experience

    Required

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related discipline

    • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, including senior leadership responsibility for HR operations

    • Demonstrated success leading enterprise HR systems and operational functions

    • Experience with compensation, benefits administration, and third-party vendor management

    • Strong background in program leadership and cross-functional execution

    • Exceptional communication, judgment, and stakeholder influence skills

    Preferred

    • Master’s degree in a business, human resources, or technology-related field

    • Experience supporting distributed or multi-location organizations

    • Professional certifications such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, PMP, CCP, or equivalent

    • Working knowledge of HR analytics platforms and reporting tools
