Position Summary
The Vice President of Marketing, Hospitality is a senior executive responsible for shaping, activating, and scaling Aspen One’s hotel and restaurant portfolio, with clear accountability for driving commercial outcomes while creating compelling, guest-first experiences that build enduring brand equity.
This role sits at the intersection of commercial growth, marketing, and operations, with accountability for delivering hospitality business results through disciplined go-to-market execution and brand-led experiences across the portfolio.
A key responsibility of this role is ownership of property-level go-to-market (GTM) strategy and execution—translating enterprise and brand priorities into clear, actionable plans that drive awareness, demand, visitation, and revenue. This leader brings strong business acumen, judgment, exceptional taste, cultural fluency, and commercial rigor.
In this role, the Vice President of Marketing, Hospitality serves as:
• A commercial integrator, aligning Revenue, Sales, Operations, and Marketing around shared business objectives
• A brand steward, ensuring growth is achieved while building brand integrity and the guest experience
• A strategic orchestrator, setting clear direction, priorities, and success metrics while enabling Marketing Centers of Excellence to deliver best-in-class execution
This role will play a critical role in scaling the Limelight Hotels brand while continuing to reinforce and elevate The Little Nell’s world-class luxury positioning, stewarding both brands simultaneously with clarity and distinction.
This is a highly collaborative role that partners closely with Aspen One’s centralized Marketing Centers of Excellence—including Communications, Creative, Digital, and Partnerships—leveraging their deep functional expertise to support hospitality business priorities. The Vice President of Hospitality Marketing provides clear strategic direction, prioritization, and accountability, while Centers of Excellence deliver best-in-class execution at scale. This position has dual reporting to the CEO, Aspen Hospitality and CMO, Aspen One.
The salary range for this position is $170,000 - $220,000. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience; all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus.

Essential Job Functions/Key Job Responsibilities
Marketing Leadership to Drive Commercial Business Goals
• Align hospitality business goals with the Aspen Hospitality CEO, VP of Revenue, and VP of Operations, and translate those priorities into clear direction and briefs for centralized Centers of Excellence
• Lead hospitality marketing leaders in setting objectives, sequencing initiatives, and defining success metrics, while partnering with Centers of Excellence to deliver best-in-class creative, digital, communications, and partnership execution
Go-To-Market Strategy, Accountability, Orchestration & Execution
• Own hospitality GTM strategy across all hotels and restaurants, translating enterprise and brand priorities into property-specific execution plans
• Serve as the primary strategist, integrator and orchestrator across hospitality business priorities and centralized Centers of Excellence, ensuring GTM plans are commercially sound, operationally executable, and supported by expert channel and creative execution
• Develop and manage annual and seasonal GTM calendars inclusive of openings, peak periods, programming, and campaigns
• Jointly owns outcomes with AO Creative, Digital & Communications Teams as well as Aspen Hospitality Sales, Revenue Management, and Operations to ensure GTM efforts directly support commercial goals and on-property performance
New Property Launches & Post Launch Strategy
• Lead hospitality GTM planning and execution for new hotel and restaurant openings
• Effectively partner with business unit specific and centralized teams, including Revenue, Sales, AO Creative, AO Digital, and Operations, to deliver fully integrated, commercially effective launches
• Translate brand vision into opening strategies that drive awareness, bookings, and early loyalty while respecting operational realities
• Drive commercial performance at opening and beyond through sustained, post-launch strategies
On-Property Brand & Guest Experience Execution
• Own the physical expression of the brand across the full guest journey—from arrival through departure
• Ensure brand standards are executed with consistency and precision across signage, collateral, in-room touchpoints, activations, and moments that matter
• Continuously assess and elevate the on-property experience to ensure it remains distinctive, relevant, and emotionally resonant
• Partner closely with Operations to ensure marketing-led experiences are operationally sound and guest-first
Programming Strategy & Promotion
• Lead the vision, development, and execution of signature programming across hotels and restaurants
• Ensure programming reflects brand values, sense of place, and guest interests while driving media attention, visitation, repeat stays, and ancillary revenue
• Develop scalable programming frameworks that balance local relevance with brand consistency and cultural resonance
• Collaborate on the promotion of programming in partnership with centralized teams, ensuring visibility across the full guest lifecycle—from consideration and pre-arrival through on-property and post-stay
Partnerships Incubation & Activation
• Identify, incubate, and activate strategic partnerships that elevate the guest experience, drive cultural relevance, and generate meaningful media impact across earned, owned, and social channels
• Partner closely with the Aspen One centralized Partnerships team to ensure strategic alignment, approvals, and best-in-class execution
• Translate partnership concepts into authentic on-property experiences, activations, and programming
• Measure partnership performance across guest experience, brand impact, and media outcomes to build long-term brand credibility and relevance
Field Marketing Leadership
• Lead, develop, and inspire field marketing team responsible for property-level execution and localized partnerships
• Establish clear expectations, playbooks, and standards for how marketing operates at the property level and interfaces with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure field teams are deeply aligned with property leadership while remaining accountable to centralized strategy and brand standards
Performance Management & Optimization
• Jointly own outcomes with Revenue and Digital leadership, shape strategy for property-level digital performance marketing tied to programming and partnerships
• Collaborate with Digital, Analytics, Revenue, and Strategy teams to evaluate effectiveness and continuously refine GTM execution
• Leverage guest feedback, performance data, and field insights to elevate standards, optimize outcomes, and inform future strategy
• Serve as the primary marketing owner of hospitality commercial performance in partnership with Revenue and Operations leadership
Budget & Resource Management
• Own and manage the hospitality marketing and programming budget across the portfolio
• Allocate resources strategically to maximize impact across properties, seasons, and initiatives
• Ensure disciplined financial stewardship while maintaining an uncompromising bar for quality, creativity, and brand execution

Qualifications
**Education & Experience Requirements **
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree is a plus
• 15 or more years of progressive experience in hospitality marketing preferred; lifestyle, luxury, and/or consumer brand marketing, with significant prior leadership responsibility at the VP or Senior Director level
**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities **
• Proven track record of building and scaling brands through experiential marketing, programming, partnerships, and property-level activation, ideally within hotels, restaurants, and/or experience-driven environments
• Demonstrated expertise in go-to-market strategy, translating brand and commercial priorities into clear and actionable plans that drive demand, awareness, and revenue at the local level
• Highly experienced in developing signature programming and partnerships that deliver both meaningful guest experiences and measurable brand and business impact
• Highly experienced in leading marketing for new openings and launches, including hotels, restaurants, or other complex, multi-stakeholder environments
• Strong people leader with a history of building, mentoring, and managing high-performing teams across geographies and remote environments
• Strong leadership and team management skills, including hiring, training, and coaching
• Exceptional cultural fluency, with a strong point of view on trends, partnerships, and experiences that resonate with modern, experience-seeking consumers
• Highly collaborative cross-functional partner, with experience working closely with Brand, Creative, Communications, Digital, Sales, Revenue, and Operations teams
• Commercially minded marketer, comfortable balancing creativity with performance, data, and financial discipline
• Strategic communicator and influencer, able to clearly articulate vision, align senior stakeholders, and drive execution across the organization
• Comfort/ease operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment, with the ability to scale processes and standards while maintaining brand integrity
• Ability to travel to portfolio of hotels and restaurants regularly
Additional Information
**Work Environment & Physical Demands **
• Ability to stand, walk or be on your feet for extended periods of time, kneeling and bending may be required
• Regularly work indoors with no adverse conditions
• Must be able to occasionally lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance (weight limits can vary according to position, but no more than 50)
