We are a dynamic medical group dedicated to delivering exceptional primary care and specialty services to residents in assisted living facilities (ALFs) and skilled nursing facilities (SNFs). Operating across New York and New Jersey, with plans to expand to the West Coast, our mission is to enhance patient outcomes through comprehensive, on-site medical care. We prioritize collaboration with facility staff, proactive chronic disease management, and innovative care solutions to empower patients and reduce hospital admissions. With a lean back-office structure, we value efficiency, adaptability, and hands-on leadership to drive our growth and operational excellence.

We are seeking a seasoned Vice President of Operations to oversee and optimize our operations across New York and New Jersey. This pivotal leadership role will blend in-office strategic oversight with on-the-road engagement, requiring a hands-on leader to strengthen operational systems and drive efficiency. The Regional Director of Operations will work closely with clinical teams, facility partners, and the executive leadership to ensure seamless service delivery and support the company's expansion goals. This role does not require travel to the West Coast but demands a proactive presence in the NYC area to foster growth and implement robust operational structures.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee daily operations of primary care and specialty services across ALFs and SNFs in New York and New Jersey, ensuring high-quality care delivery and operational efficiency.
    • Develop and implement standardized systems, processes, and structures to streamline operations, enhance scalability, and support the company's lean back-office model.
    • Collaborate with clinical teams and facility partners to align service delivery with patient needs and regulatory requirements.
    • Drive performance metrics, including patient outcomes, staff productivity, and hospital readmission reduction, through data-driven decision-making.
    • Lead recruitment, training, and management of operational staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
    • Conduct regular on-site visits to facilities to assess operations, build relationships with facility staff, and address challenges in real-time.
    • Identify opportunities for operational innovation, including technology integration and process automation, to support growth and efficiency.
    • Manage budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships to optimize operational costs while maintaining service quality.
    • Provide strategic input to executive leadership on expansion plans, operational scalability, and market opportunities in New York and New Jersey.
    • Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations, maintaining high standards of care and operational integrity.

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience as a Director of Operations or similar leadership role within a medical group, preferably in mobile healthcare services such as wound care, in-home care, or facility-based care (ALFs/SNFs).
    • Minimum of 7-10 years of operational leadership experience in the healthcare industry, with a track record of implementing systems and structures to drive efficiency.
    • Strong understanding of primary care and specialty service delivery in ALFs and SNFs, with familiarity in New York and New Jersey healthcare regulations.
    • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships with clinical teams, facility staff, and external partners.
    • Hands-on, results-oriented approach with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, lean operational environment.
    • Demonstrated expertise in process improvement, operational scalability, and performance management.
    • Strong analytical skills, with experience using data to drive operational decisions and improve outcomes.
    • Ability to work in the NYC area, with willingness to travel regularly within New York and New Jersey (travel reimbursement provided).
    • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, MHA) preferred.
    • The ideal candidate will have a “slam dunk” background, such as experience as a Director of Operations for a mobile healthcare company servicing facilities or in-home care.
