Own the Ticketing Strategy. Lead the Team. Drive Revenue.
A professional sports organization in Tucson, Arizona is looking for an experienced ticketing leader to take ownership of its ticketing operations, pricing strategy, inventory management, box office operations, and overall ticket revenue strategy.
This is an opportunity for someone who understands that successful ticketing is about much more than processing transactions. It's about understanding the fan, managing inventory intelligently, creating the right pricing strategy, improving the customer experience, and finding opportunities to drive attendance and revenue.
As Vice President of Ticketing & Revenue Strategy, you'll lead a team of approximately six while working closely with sales, marketing, sponsorship, finance, and executive leadership.
This is a highly visible role for someone who wants to have a meaningful impact on the business.
What You'll Own
You'll oversee the organization's complete ticketing operation while helping shape the strategy behind attendance and ticket revenue.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading all ticketing and box office operations
Developing pricing and revenue strategies designed to maximize ticket sales, attendance, and revenue
Managing ticket inventory, manifests, pricing tiers, holds, releases, and seat availability
Overseeing season tickets, individual tickets, group tickets, promotional offers, and other ticketing programs
Managing the organization's relationship with Ticketmaster and other ticketing partners
Optimizing ticket sales and fulfillment through Spinzo and other ticketing technology
Evaluating new technology and third-party solutions that can improve efficiency and increase customer engagement
Analyzing sales trends, attendance, inventory movement, pricing, and revenue performance
Identifying opportunities to improve ticket utilization and overall revenue

Ensuring accurate and efficient ticket fulfillment and box office operations
Supporting game-day and event ticketing operations when needed
Leading, coaching, and developing approximately six ticketing team members
Creating strong processes, expectations, and accountability across the department
Serving as the organization's senior ticketing subject-matter expert
Ensuring ticketing operations comply with applicable arena and city contractual requirements
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who truly understands professional sports ticketing.
You know how pricing, inventory, manifests, promotions, fulfillment, technology, and the fan experience work together — and you know how those pieces ultimately impact revenue.
You're strategic enough to sit with senior leadership and discuss revenue performance, but you're also willing to roll up your sleeves when the box office is busy or an issue needs to be solved on game day.
Ideally, you'll bring:
5+ years of professional sports business experience
Strong professional sports ticketing and/or box office operations experience
Experience managing ticket inventory, manifests, pricing, holds, releases, and fulfillment
Strong understanding of ticket pricing and revenue strategy
Experience working with major ticketing platforms and technology
Ticketmaster experience strongly preferred
Spinzo experience is a plus
Leadership or people-management experience
Experience analyzing ticket sales, attendance, inventory, and revenue data
Strong business judgment and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, organization, and leadership abilities
The ability to move comfortably between strategy and hands-on execution
Why This Opportunity
This isn't a role where you'll simply maintain an existing ticketing system.
You'll have the opportunity to influence how the organization approaches pricing, inventory, technology, ticketing operations, fan experience, and revenue generation.
You'll work closely with senior leadership, lead your own department, and have visibility into the broader business strategy of a professional sports organization.
For the right sports ticketing professional, this is an opportunity to bring your experience, ideas, and leadership to an organization where your work can make a measurable impact.
Leadership Scope
You'll lead a ticketing department of approximately six employees and work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, sponsorship, finance, game operations, and executive leadership.
The organization is looking for a leader who develops their team while remaining accessible and involved in the day-to-day business.
Compensation
Base Salary: $80,000–$100,000 per year, depending on experience

Relocation assistance may be considered for the right candidate.
Additional benefit and compensation details will be discussed during the interview process.
Schedule & Location
This is a full-time, on-site position in Tucson, Arizona.

Local Tucson-area candidates are encouraged to apply, although relocation may be considered for an exceptional candidate.
