You’ll be in charge of our financial planning, ensuring the accuracy of financial information, producing reports, and providing recommendations to keep profits up and costs down.  If this sounds like you, we highly encourage you to apply. Responsibilities: Conduct internal auditing Forecast revenue and analyze our profit margin to better determine our effectiveness Optimize company’s accounting policies and procedures to ensure effectiveness Advise on ways our company can optimize our financial efficiency Communicate with tax accountants to keep track of payments and returns Provide counsel on organizational strategic planning and budget Make sure accounts payable and accounts receivable are processed efficiently Manage business by performing regular financial reporting and keeping accounting systems and financial documents current Bookkeeping: Ensure the accuracy and compliance of our financial documents such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and financial transactions • Cash management including managing accounts payable and check runs as well as pair off wires, mortgage insurance payments, appraisal payments, and any other loan-related expenses • Track and manage revenue and expenses for multiple locations • Prepare monthly closing journal entries including derivative adjustments and pipeline valuations • Qualifications: Must possess exceptional communication, problem-solving, and time management skills Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar field, Master’s degree preferred At least 2 years of work experience in accounting services, financial services or related position Successfully completed the uniform CPA examination by the AICPA and hold CPA certification that complies with the state board of accountancy regulations Must be well-versed in general accepted accounting principles (GAAP) • 2 years mortgage industry experience required • 5+ years accounting management experience required Compensation: 70,000 - 100,000 yearly
