Angel Studios is seeking an extremely talented and experienced Social Media Specialist for the popular religious TV series, The Chosen (with the website and app-based streaming product, fundraising initiative, and e-commerce store sites). The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for curating Angel's social channels. They will monitor, moderate and respond to audience comments; manage social media accounts for multiple projects; and create and/or post shareable videos and images. They will also strategize and execute digital marketing campaigns while gathering and analyzing the data results from those campaigns. In addition to working with the marketing team, they note what content is performing best. This position will be responsible for analyzing all social media comments for The Chosen series, responses, and overall social media engagement. As a member of our team, you'll help us post content, engage with customers, and provide customer support on our social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, etc.). 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
• Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
• Set specific objectives and report on ROI
• Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos, and news)
• Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
• Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales, and customer service to ensure brand consistency
• Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
• Oversee social media accounts' design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures, and blog layout)
• Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
• Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education: A degree in fields such as Journalism, Public Relations or Marketing

Required Experience: 1-2 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role

Required Skills:

• High-Level communication and writing skills. 
• Understanding of brand and audience when crafting your message and responding to comments.
• Ability to use audience feedback and respond positively and with a purpose to all communications
• The ability to prioritize which comments need replies and when.
• Proven work experience as a Social media manager
• Hands-on experience in content management
• Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics
• Knowledge of online marketing channels
• Excellent communication skills
• Analytical and multitasking skills

Work hours: 20-40 hours per week and may require working some nights (up to about 10 PM) and weekends.

Salary: $15-$17 per hour

Preferred Experience: Prior Customer Service, Marketing, and/or Social Media experience in a business setting.
