Job Title: In house Social Media Ads Video Editor
We are seeking a creative and resourceful Facebook/TikTok Ads Video Editor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging and high-quality short-form videos that capture attention within seconds. The ideal candidate has a keen understanding of TikTok's trends, viral formats, and storytelling techniques that resonate with its audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop Engaging Hooks: Create compelling and creative video hooks to grab attention in the first few seconds and increase viewer retention.
Edit Short-Form Content: Produce and edit a high volume of short-form videos, optimized for TikTok, ensuring they are visually appealing and on-brand.
Resourceful B-Roll Integration and AI: Source, pull, and edit b-roll footage to enhance storytelling, create smoother transitions, and add depth to the content, and use of AI.
Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with TikTok trends, challenges, and platform updates to ensure content is fresh, relevant, and competitive.
Collaborate: Work closely with the media buying team to brainstorm new ideas, develop storyboards, and execute creative strategies that align with the brand’s goals.
Optimize for Platform: Edit videos specifically for TikTok, focusing on vertical video format, sound sync, and fast-paced editing styles.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio of TikTok or short-form content.
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, etc.).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Understanding of TikTok’s algorithm, trends, and audience engagement strategies.
Creativity, resourcefulness, and attention to detail.
Ability to source and integrate royalty-free music, sound effects, and b-roll footage.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Hours, Location and Benefits:
Contractor part time to start (about 20hrs a week) or Full time position available (for the right person).
Hourly wage of $20 for the first 3 months. A commission structure will be an option after the first 3 months depending on the quality of work and value the candidate brings.
Work closely with media buyers in office video editing.
Remote flexibility (outside of office hours)
Additional Details:
Approved expenses reimbursed when required.
This position will give an opportunity for someone to grow from being just a video editor to a long term opportunity to understand the affiliate marketing game and a potential to learn ads and lead gen.
Long term to be able to make content for the team in house.
