About the Position
The Video Production Fellow will focus on pre-production and production support across the organization. This position is perfect for an individual with entry-level video production experience, an interest in producing digital videos, strong time management and a desire to learn in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Core Responsibilities:
- Assist Video Producers and the Production Management team with the creation of long-form videos
- Assist Producers on research, outreach to experts and interviewees, securing locations and other shoot materials
- Coordinate and communicate information about shoots, including technical specifications and schedules between MPU production staff and videographers
- Helping track footage and production assets after shoots, liaising with Videographers for any missing assets
- Assisting Video Editors in organizing and reviewing footage
- Creating interview transcripts and helping identify strong soundbites for producers
- Pulling video clips, news headlines, images and other media for scripts
- Performing administrative duties
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet expected deadlines
- Maintain high standard of work in a nimble, fast paced environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Experience/Qualifications:
- Experience on digital video productions;
- Basic camera knowledge;
- Experience with Adobe Premiere desired;
- Documentary, journalism, and/or political experience;
- Producing, scripting, research or development experience a plus;
- Familiarity with national politics and labor issues;
- A passion for economic justice and workers rights;
- Strong understanding of social media, email etiquette and exceptional interpersonal communication skills;
- Studied or currently studying in journalism, communications, film, marketing, public relations or related field;
- Available full-time hours and able to excel in a remote/work from home environment
