2BGlass — Cameron Park, CA Part-time to start with great potential for full-time (depending on fit and growth)
2BGlass is Northern California’s #1-rated glassblowing studio, known for turning molten glass into heirloom-quality art and viral content. With 860,000+ subscribers on YouTube, 200,000+ followers on Instagram, and top 1% YouTube growth last year, we’re approaching one million subscribers — and we’re just getting started.
Our vision is bold and very clear: to become the #1 glassblowing channel on YouTube in the world.
We’re hiring a YouTube Growth & Video Specialist to help bring that vision to life — someone who believes in that goal, is excited by it, and is confident in their ability to help us achieve it.
This is not a casual content role. This is for someone who truly lives and breathes YouTube and content creation, and wants to grow something meaningful over the long term.
This role is for someone who wants to be in the studio, part of the team, and in the middle of the momentum — capturing real moments, real processes, and real people as we build and grow.
At 2BGlass, we’re working to take glassblowing mainstream, bridging the worlds of art, manufacturing, and accessibility. That story unfolds every day on the shop floor, not just during scheduled shoots.
We’re looking for a long-term fit — someone who wants to grow with us over the next decade, not just fill a role for a season. You’ll be helping document and shape the story of a brand that’s actively scaling.
You’ll be responsible for capturing, editing, and helping guide content that performs — especially short-form video for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, Facebook and TikTok — while also contributing to longer-form storytelling when it makes sense.
You’ll collaborate closely with the owners and the studio team, and you’ll have real influence over the direction of the channel and the content strategy.
🎬 What You’ll Be Doing
Filming day-to-day glassblowing, behind-the-scenes, product creation, and studio life
Editing primarily short-form vertical video with strong hooks and fast pacing
Creating content optimized for retention and performance
Studying analytics deeply and iterating based on what’s actually working
Testing new formats, storytelling approaches, and content hypotheses
Anticipating trends and audience interests before they peak
Helping develop and refine overall content strategy
Organizing footage and maintaining clean workflows
Creating long-form YouTube content as well
This role is about consistent, high-quality, growth-focused output.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just execute tasks, but takes ownership of outcomes and is proud of helping move the needle. Someone who doesn’t think “it’s good enough, post it” but instead thinks, “this is great — how could I make it even better?”
Truly love YouTube and content creation — this is something you follow, study, and enjoy daily
Believe we can become the #1 glassblowing channel on YouTube AND believe YOU can make that happen
Have an advanced understanding of social and YouTube analytics, not just surface-level metrics
Deeply understand how people actually watch content, what holds attention, and what makes people share
Can identify what is a gimmick or fading trend vs. what is about to break through
Have strong foresight into culture and audience behavior across YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook
Are trustworthy with autonomy and time management
Are naturally an over-achiever who takes pride in doing exceptional work
Enjoy being in fast-paced, hands-on environments and being part of a growing team
We’re looking for someone who treats this channel like it’s their own project to grow, not just a list of assignments to complete.
Skills & Experience
Strong video shooting and editing skills (results matter more than gear)
Proven experience creating short-form content that performs
Comfortable with professional editing software (Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut, etc.)
Advanced understanding of YouTube and social analytics and how to apply insights to content strategy
Ability to manage projects independently from concept through posting and analysis
You’ve helped grow a channel or brand account before
You enjoy storytelling around process, craft, and entrepreneurship
You bring ideas proactively and enjoy testing them
🕒 Schedule & Location
Part-time to start with great potential for full-time (depending on fit and growth)
On-site in Cameron Park, CA — this is a physical, visual craft and the best content happens in the studio
Strong potential for long-term growth with the company
