    The World Equestrian Center is seeking a Videographer & Social Media Content Creator to develop content in support of our horse shows and our marketing efforts.

    Job Summary:

    The Videographer & Social Media Content Creator will support World Equestrian Center – Wilmington marketing and social media efforts during select horse shows throughout the year. This is a contract-based, on-site position.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Capture compelling video content during horse shows, including:

    o Daily competition highlights

    o Rider and trainer interviews

    o Mid-length (2–5 min) evergreen features

    • Produce same-day edits optimized for social media (Instagram and Facebook).

    • Deliver both raw footage and edited content to the marketing team.

    • Collaborate with on-site marketing staff to identify content needs, key riders or classes, and trending topics to cover.

    • Ensure content reflects the WEC brand’s voice, values, and visual standards.

    Qualifications, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Proven experience creating short-form video content for social media, ideally for live events.

    • A strong portfolio showcasing interview footage, highlight reels, and behind-the-scenes storytelling.

    • Proficiency in video editing software and a solid understanding of vertical and horizontal video formats.

    • Access to professional video equipment, including camera, mics, and editing tools.

    • Ability to work quickly and meet same-day turnaround deadlines.

    • Equestrian sport knowledge and experience filming horse shows is strongly preferred.

    Additional Details:

    • This is a contract position with a day rate. Housing during select show dates may be provided.

    • Content will be owned exclusively by World Equestrian Center.

    • Candidates must be available to work on-site at WEC – Wilmington for the full duration of select show days.
