  • Responsibilities

    POSITION OVERVIEW:

    MUST BE A US CITIZEN TO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION.

    • Manage TO operations, to include but not limited to the planning, implementation, and management of TO activities and resources.
    • Accountable to DS/IP/OPO COR for the schedule, performance, and quality of TO activities and resources.
    • Implement program strategies to mitigate risk and maintain continuity of operations in accordance with the TO requirements.
    • Provide leadership, management, and direction, in coordination with the PM, for TO Contractor personnel.
    • Serve as the Contractor principal point of contact with DS/IP/OPO COR.
    • Coordinate with CONUS and OCONUS Contractor management in developing professional relationships with personnel including, but not limited to:
      1. Private security personnel working for the Department or other Government agencies
      2. S. and foreign diplomatic personnel
      3. Foreign security personnel
      4. Host nation law enforcement
    • Ensure timely and accurate reporting, as outlined in the TO and in this contract.

     PRIMARY/MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

    • Must possess either:
    • A Master’s degree from an accredited institution and seven (7) years of applicable work experience.
    1. A minimum of five (5) years of this experience at senior levels of government focused with work in planning, evaluating, analyzing, and implementing Government security or training programs, specifically personal protection, emergency response team, or guard force operations and training.
    2. A minimum of three (3) years of this experience must have been supervisory experience.
    • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and eight (8) years of applicable work experience.
    1. A minimum of seven (7) years of this experience must have been work at the senior levels of government in planning, evaluating, analyzing, and implementing Government security or training programs, specifically personal protection, emergency response team, or guard force.
    2. A minimum of five (5) years of this experience must have been supervisory experience.
    • An Associate’s degree from an accredited institution and thirteen (13) years of applicable work experience.
    1. A minimum of ten (10) years of this experience must have been work in planning, evaluating, analyzing, and implementing Government security-type or training programs, specifically personal protection, emergency response team, or guard force.
    2. A minimum of seven (7) years of this experience must have been supervisory experience.
    • Fifteen (15) years of applicable work experience providing services on U.S. Government contracts or other DS-related security program.
    1. A minimum of ten (10) years of this experience must have been work in planning, evaluating, analyzing, and implementing Government security-type programs, specifically personal protection, emergency response team, or guard force.
    2. A minimum of seven (7) years of this experience must have been supervisory experience.
    • Possession of a PMP certification (www.pmi.org) will be considered to be equivalent to possessing two (2) years of applicable work experience.

    Required Skills Required Experience

  • Qualifications
    • Strong C++ knowledge, Object Oriented Design principles and embedded development
    • Ability to quickly develop and understand complex control systems including embedded real-time, application layers, CORBA interface and its associated hardware environment.
    • Experience reverse engineering existing logic and rewriting that into newer technologies.
    • Experience with multi-threaded software development
    • Experience with client/server architectures and RPC mechanisms (Redis, GRPC, etc.)
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to translate, statistically analyze data, and effectively report problems through written and/or graphical formats.
    • Excellent customer service skills, with an advanced understanding of customer relationship building.
    • Technical expert of data management, TCP/IP and other similar communication protocols.
    • Applies advanced knowledge of design methodologies.
    • Demonstrates sophisticated knowledge in utilizing design engineering tools, systems analysis and design, and database management.
