    GENERAL SUMMARY

    The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Talent Acquisition Department at the VCCD, including greeting guests and answering general inquiries about HR and the organization, maintaining employee and applicant tracking systems, assisting with onboarding of new hires, and assisting with sourcing candidates.

    PAY RATE:

    $22.00 HRLY

    CORE SCOPE OF POSITION

    • Serves as the first point of contact for the Talent Acquisition department; greets, directs, answers, and provides information to candidates, visitors, team members, vendors, and guests regarding general HR and company inquiries and other HR departments as needed.
    • Contacts and provides assistance to applicants throughout the hiring and onboarding process including coordinating all appointments and helping with electronic applicant and onboarding system
    • Enters data and resolves data discrepancies in the applicant tracking and applicant tracking systems in a timely manner.
    • Demonstrates knowledge of data and organization information to complete “reasonable checks” on data received and entered. Contacts appropriate manager if additional information is needed.
    • Adds new information to files in a timely manner and/or transfers them to electronic storage.
    • Checks applications and Red-Carpet information to make sure that all items are completed correctly.
    • Assists with sourcing and screening of candidates and scheduling of interviews
    • Works with recruiters, managers, and new hires to schedule new hire orientation
    • Administers and organizes pre-employment drug tests to applicants and current team members to include tracking and providing test results to the respective recruiters and/or departments.
    • Initiates, prepares processes and distributes other support documents, including application process, drug and alcohol screening, I-9 employment verification, rehire verification, confidentiality agreements, W-4, E-Verify, etc.
    • Assists with the coordination of appointments with gaming commission and reviews of new hire paperwork for accuracy, uniform fitting, and passport photos.
    • Assist with onboarding process and appointments as needed including the Enterprise and Tribal Government.
    • Assist with data entry as related to onboarding, orientation, team member numbers, recruiting and other projects as needed.
    • Assists with and maintains data within Rival/ Silkroad including candidate information, job descriptions, active users, templates and other data.
    • Assist with coordination of Spanish New Hire Orientation
    • Call candidates for gaming appointment reminders and verification of information needed for appointment.
    • Send email to Gaming Commission distribution list for following days Gaming appointments.
    • Processes E-Verify for new candidates and follows all related regulations and procedures
    • Answer, respond to voicemails or redirect voicemails to correct Coordinator for Employment Line.
    • Assist with setup, organization, and candidate placement at Hiring Events, off and on property.
    • Provides support with HR projects and other duties as needed

    Required Skills

    • Bilingual required (Spanish).
    • Extensive experience working with computer systems, including on-line human resources/applicant tracking systems, Windows, Word, and Excel.
    • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment.
    • Ability to perform research and resolve problems.
    • Must be a self-starter and able to adjust to change.

    Required Experience

    EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION

    • Bachelor's degree preferred.

    EXPERIENCE

    • 1 to 2 years of experience in Human Resources administration.
