    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The (ATOC) Controller (In-bound and Out-bound) is responsible for providing proactive and safe oversight and use accurate information to manage available resources in order for the aerial port to effectively receive, document, and handle passengers, cargo, and mail. Reports to Senior Duty Office and Site Manager.

    • Provides oversight and dissemination of information relating to all airlift traffic flow and aerial port operations as described in the Performance Work Statement.

    • Controls all space allocated on airlift missions, and is responsible for obtaining maximum aircraft utilization and on-time departures.

    • Prioritizes aerial port workload and ensures resources are managed to support the simultaneous loading and/or unloading of up to four aircraft at one time.

    • Provides status reports for aircraft landing, block-in, block-out, take-off times, potential or actual aircraft delay, accidents, incidents and mishaps, and mission schedule.

    • Monitors the status of all aerial port operations vehicles and materiel handling equipment to ensure adequate equipment is available to meet operational requirements.

    • Maintain employee compliance with safety requirements by communicating and enforcing policies and procedures.

    • Ensure compliance with applicable Government and corporate regulations, policies and procedures.

    • Shall be able to effectively communicate and use technical manuals and references.

    • Responsible for providing Aerial Port Services on a 24/7/365 basis.

    • Responsible for proper utilization and safeguarding of all government and contractor provided property (e.g., to include government facilities, equipment and tools).

    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills

    The Controllers shall be familiar with all air terminal and flight-line operations.

    Physical requirements may include lifting up to 50lbs, climbing, extended sitting, or standing, stooping, stretching, and bending.

    Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current, valid U. S. Passport and U. S. or Local Driver’s License.

    Must have and maintain a valid U. S. SECRET or Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to deployment.

    Must be able to pass MOD12 employment and deployment qualification requirements that include psychological, medical, dental, drug testing, background checks, etc.

    Required Experience

    Four (4) years experience with GATES systems and a working knowledge of all ATOC duty functions.

    Military experience in a contingency environment and knowledge and experience working with government contracts preferred.
