    Our expanding law practice is looking for a paralegal with strong knowledge of all aspects of Family Law, Probate & Estate Planning law who can hit the ground running as we build our perfect team. We are your family's go-to law firm. We help people when life's problems become legal problems. You will be a member of a dynamic and developing team. Applicants must be experienced, well-organized professionals who can work with minimal supervision and lead the paralegal and assistant team. This is a full-time, hybrid position. Compensation is negotiable based on experience, with the option of obtaining bonus compensation for excellent performance. Characteristics: • Self-starter with the ability to independently seek out new projects • Team-oriented with the necessary flexibility of a growing law firm • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks, so we never miss a deadline • Detail-oriented to keep track of key dates and avoid costly mistakes Responsibilities: • Perform legal research for motions, hearings, and other legal assistance • Store case files and additional important information neatly arranged and immediately accessible • Organize, manage, and evaluate discovery and records • Review and prepare all financial disclosures and statements • Prepare legal documents, correspondence, affidavits, and pleadings such as complaints, interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, pretrial orders, and legal briefs under the supervision of a lawyer • Determine and meet all deadlines by monitoring progress for all deliverables • Communicate with clients to ensure proper service, answer basic process-oriented questions about their case, and gather information about their legal issues Qualifications: • Candidates should possess high-level organizational skills and time-management skills • Paralegal experience working closely with attorneys and clients on [[types of cases]] • Prior experience working with office management software: internet, email, word processing, case management, time and billing, legal research, and document management is required • 5-10 years of previous experience working in Family Law in Washington is required • Experience in training and leading paralegals and legal assistants. Compensation: $70,000 - $95,000
