Founded in 1965, Vikco Insurance Services LLC (“Vikco”), a subsidiary of K2 Insurance Services, LLC, is a dynamic and growing Managing General Underwriter offering specialty commercial insurance programs nationally.  As a leading program administrator Vikco continues to bring new programs to market focused on the needs of our distribution and capital partners. 

Vikco is seeking a full time Operations Specialist to join its team at one of the company offices in San Diego/ Pasadena or Danville, CA.

THE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST’S RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: 

• Review applications and issue binders.
• Process endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements. 
• Request and review inspections.
• Communicate loss control recommendations.
• Review historical loss information by accessing various computer systems and applications.
• Process policy transactions and endorsements.
• Order and screen inspection reports. 
• Review inspections as needed.
• Communicate effectively with the underwriting team and outside producer partners as needed. 
• Display good time management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

THE IDEAL OPERATIONS SPECIALIST WILL HAVE: 

• High School diploma or equivalent required. 
• Bachelor's Degree preferred. 
• At least one year of office work experience required. 
• Insurance experience related to rate, quote, and issuance of P&C Insurance is preferred.
• Proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
